What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School helps children grow in their faith by exploring Bible stories through music, crafts, science, recreation and snacks. This year at the Rolling River Rampage, children will learn water-themed Bible stories.
When is VBS?
VBS will be July 9-12, from 5:45-8:00 p.m.
Do I have to be a member of Choctaw United Methodist Church to attend?
No, everyone is invited to VBS!
How old do I have to be to attend?
VBS is for children from ages 3 to those entering 5th grade.
Will there be food?
Yes, each evening a light meal will be served. A menu will be provided in advance of the start of VBS.
When do I need to register?
Children who register by July 1, will be entered into a drawing for a water-related prize. However registration will continue to stay open during the week of VBS.
Do parents and grandparents need to stay?
No. We have plenty of adult volunteers from Choctaw United Methodist Church who will serve as our leaders during VBS. Each of our volunteers has completed a background check and Safe Sanctuaries training. If you wish to stay or volunteer, please contact Tessa Stutzman (email@example.com).
*A special note about Thursday, July 12:
Families are invited to the final closing assembly, which will begin at 7:45 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
