We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for Vacation Bible School 2026 at Choctaw United Methodist Church! This summer, kids ages 4 years through 5th grade are invited to set sail on an unforgettable adventure of faith, fun, and friendship at Cruising with Christ VBS.
From exciting Bible stories and energetic music to games, crafts, and time with friends, every evening will be packed with meaningful moments and memorable fun. We can’t wait to welcome your family aboard for this incredible week as we discover together that Jesus is our guide for life’s greatest adventure!
What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Choctaw United Methodist Church is a fun-filled, faith-based summer experience designed especially for children. Each year, kids participate in interactive Bible lessons, engaging activities, creative crafts, uplifting music, recreation, and opportunities to build lasting friendships.
The 2026 VBS theme is “Cruising with Christ” — an exciting nautical adventure where children will learn how Jesus guides us through every season of life. Through powerful Bible stories, fun activities, and meaningful moments together, kids will discover that no matter where life takes us, we can always trust Jesus to lead the way.
When is VBS?
VBS will take place Monday through Thursday, July 27–30, 2026, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM each evening.
Check-in will begin at 5:15 PM nightly.
On the final evening, July 30th, kids will enjoy a special snow cone celebration as we wrap up an amazing week together!

Do I have to be a member of Choctaw United Methodist Church to attend?
No! Everyone is invited to attend VBS. We would love for your family to join us this summer.
How old do I have to be to attend?
VBS is open for children ages 4 years old through completed 5th grade.
Will there be food?
Light snacks and water will be provided during VBS each evening.
And don’t forget — snow cones will be available on July 30th for our closing celebration!
When do I need to register?
Registration is now open.
Do parents or grandparents need to stay?
No, parents and grandparents are not required to stay during VBS.

What should my child wear?
Please dress children in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Some activities and games may take place outdoors, weather permitting, so tennis shoes or other closed-toe shoes are encouraged.
