What We Believe

Our church is a part of the United Methodist Church through the Oklahoma Conference. For more information on core beliefs of our denomination, CLICK HERE. For information about the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church, CLICK HERE.

Baptism: As a United Methodist congregation, we practice infant baptism. We also affirm baptisms from other traditions and do not require re-baptism as a sign of faith.

Communion: In the United Methodist Church, holy communion is open to all people. Anyone is welcomed to participate regardless of age, class, race, socioeconomic standing, or any other factor.

Church Services:

Choctaw UMC, in response to COVID-19, has one, in-person service on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. We live-stream the service at https://choctawumc.com/live. This can be viewed at the time of the 10 a.m. service or at anytime after it posts.

The in-person service has the following precautions:

* Masks are required for in-person worship for participants over the age of four.

* Nursery care is provided for children three and under.

* At-risk participants are encouraged to stay home and worship via the online feed.
