Committed Christians Serving the Community and Each Other

Choctaw United Methodist Church is welcoming its new pastor, the Rev. Andy James, as it says farewell to the Rev. Charla Gwartney. Clergy in the United Methodist Church are appointed to serve churches by the leadership of the denomination.

The Rev. James previously served as the pastor at the United Methodist Church in Tuttle. His spouse, Christy, their three children, Peyton, Reed and Olivia, are moving to Choctaw. The first Sunday for the Rev. James to lead worship at Choctaw is June 10. Be present that Sunday to welcome the new pastor to the church.
